OROPESA FESTIVITIES

programme of festivities.

Oropesa festivities stared on 28 of September with the presentation of the queen an ladys of the village. This day is the day more important for the girls who represent the festivities of the village. Is a day with nerves, stress and enthusiasm.
When arrive the moment is fastantisc, all the people see you and you don't stop to smile.
At the end, you can dance with your companion, and everybody see you.
This day is a special day, who no one represent of the village can forget.
On the 29 the represent of the village gone to see a concert of Dolçaina y tabalet in the morning. In the afternoon they went to the other concert of the orquest of Oropesa and Vall d'Alba.
On 30 on the afternoon they went to inagurate a exhibition of paintings and popular clothing.
In the night we went to the novena in the old church of the village.
On 1 of october the grup L'Antina give a concert for the new CD.In the night we went to the novena.
On 2 of October we give the awards to the "petaca game" of the retired association.
At seven o'clock we went to the Espai cultural for a talk about the bulls.In te night we went to the novena.
On 3 of October we only went to the novena.
On 4 of october we went to the church buecause are the day of the homemakers, after the mass all the wife of he association and ours went to the restaurant for lunch. 
In the night we went to the novena again but before we give the awards for the "guiñote" champions. The "guiñote" is a play card. At half past ten we went to the multipourpose enclosure for saw a folk dance.

"Pregó de festes"

On 5 of october we went at twelve o'clock for a commemorative ceremony for 49 aniversary of Virgin arrived. In the afternoon we went to the "Pregó de festes" this is the day more waited for the people of the village, you can see all of the representants of the other village in a procession.At nine o'clock we have the procession of descent the image of the patron saint of the village.
On the 6 of October, at the morning, we went to a massin honor of the patron sain , la Virgen the la Paciencia, at six o'clock, we have a prcession of ascent and offering to then patron saint. 
On the 7 October is the Paellas day, all of people went to the street and make a paella with they friends.
On the 8 odf Ocyober we went to the church at half past eleven for a mass in tribute for the old people. Later, we went to lunch with the old people. 

In the bulls.

In the afternoon in the bulls square we participate in the Gran prix. 
On 9 of October are the day of Comunidad Valenciana and we went to saw bulls in the afternoon.
On 10 of october we went to saw the bulls and in the night we went to saw a Bertin Osborne concert.
On 11 of October we went to saw the bulls an later we went to inagurates a medieval street market. At eleven o'clock we went to the "mantón de manila" dance.

On 12 of October are the Pilar day, Pilar is the patron saint of Guardia Civil. We went to the church and in the afternoon we went to saw the bulls.
At eleven o'clock we went to the Nancys Rubias concert in the multipurpose enclosure.
On 13 of October is the last day of the festivities. We went to the "bolilleras" meeting. In the afternoonwe we went to saw the bulls and at nine o'clock we wnt to saw a artificial casel of fireworks.
This are all of the oropesa festivities.

HELLO MY FRIENDS !!
I'm in Spain yet... jejeje but not for a long time, I hope ;) In a few days I will be travelling far, far away, more or less 8,000 kms, it isn't sow much....
I will be, during this course and the next, with the help and the wish of the teacher, of continous with this fantastic project of the Practical English Blog, telling my adventures in the United States that some people use to call the land of te opportunitties.
